Together & Apart was my thesis project for my graphic design degree. Close to my heart, it’s a book that’s a snapshot in time, thought, and emotion. It opens with a letter - handset and letterpressed type - detailing some of my life at the time which asks questions of the audience. Through a survey of my friends and network I gathered responses to these questions and attempt to respond to them with relevant research, grounding them in context and compassion. There are three copies of the final product, the cover lino printed, every step including the binding and jacket cutouts done by my own hand.
