We were tasked with researching a designer of our choice, breaking down the methods they used to create, and emulating their style to create a poster for an event we’d like to attend. I chose to mimic Emory Douglas’ style - he translated illustrations through printmaking so I translated photography through digital media. He used shapes to define shadow and form so I did the same.
