Tasked with designing an original and unique spirit brand, I chose absinthe, an anise-flavored spirit derived from several plants, including the flowers and leaves of Artemisia absinthium (“grand wormwood”). 

Inspired by the name of the plant Artemisia absinthium, and my own feelings about the destructive nature of alcoholism, I’m using the story of Actaeon who offended Artemis by boasting that his skill as a hunter surpassed hers, so she changed him into a stag and he was pursued and killed by his own 50 hounds.
